“Sometimes the people around you won’t understand your journey. They don’t need to; it’s not for them.” -Joubert Botha
I’ve worked in the field of mental health counseling for about 3 years now, and have had the privilege of supporting individuals struggling with a range of issues, including anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and addiction. What I’ve learned is that everyone’s story is unique, but the common thread is often a longing for connection, understanding, and a path towards healing. I’m passionate about creating a safe and supportive space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings without judgment, and together, we can work towards building a more fulfilling life. To help you achieve your goals, I primarily utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). We’ll work collaboratively to understand the connection between your thoughts, feelings, and actions, empowering you to break free from those unhelpful cycles and build a more resilient and fulfilling life. I offer service both in person and virtual for residents of the state of Georgia. For your convenience, I offer both in-person sessions and virtual therapy for residents of Georgia, allowing you to choose the format that best suits your needs and lifestyle.
